Get to know me…..

sleep consultant

Hi, I’m Gina

Certified sleep consultant, founder of The Lullaby Nurse and qualified paediatric nurse and most importantly, a mummy to two beautiful little girls.

If you’ve landed here, you’re probably either having a little nosey, or you’re struggling with your little one’s sleep. This is where I’m here to help…

Sleep is one of the biggest worries parents share with me. Not because they’re doing anything wrong, but because infant sleep is complex. It’s developmental, constantly changing, and individually unique. When you combine that with exhaustion, endless opinions, and an overwhelming amount of advice online, it’s no surprise that so many parents end up feeling lost.

When I became a mum, my biggest fear was that I wouldn’t get enough sleep. Having a ‘nana nap’ in the afternoon is my idea of a perfect day.

My first daughter loved her sleep just as much as I did. Then my second daughter arrived… and everything changed. Nights were unpredictable, she was awake for long periods of time, wake-ups were frequent, and suddenly I found myself awake at night, Googling everything.

“Is this normal?”
“Should she be awake for this long?”
“Why is she waking up so much?”

Before I knew it, I had fallen down a rabbit hole of conflicting sleep advice, and endless opinions leaving me feeling unsure, tired, very emotional all the time. But during that time I became completely fascinated by infant sleep.

I realised that so many parents were feeling exactly the way I was: exhausted, confused, and just wanting someone to guide them without judgement. No parent should feel alone at 3am wondering if they’re doing something wrong.

The Lullaby Nurse was created from that place. From real motherhood, real exhaustion, and a real desire to support families through one of the most challenging parts of early parenting.

Why work with me?

With over 10 years' experience as a paediatric nurse, and five of those years working with families as a school nurse and health visitor, I've spent my career supporting children (and the adults who care for them) through some of their most challenging stages.

My approach to sleep is evidence-based, practical and compassionate. I don't believe in unrealistic expectations or one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I work with families to create sleep plans that are realistic, responsive and tailored to their child and to them.

I also believe that wanting your evenings back, or a proper date night with your partner, is not only completely valid, it's important. Taking care of yourself and your relationship makes you a better parent, and there is absolutely no judgement here for wanting that.

At The Lullaby Nurse, my aim is simple: to help families feel confident, informed and supported, while guiding their child towards better sleep in a way that feels right for them.
